Finally the day we all have been waiting for was here, at least the day we have been waited for! The departure date on our big adventure was 14th january. Man were we excited!
The day started with a flight from Bergen to London, where we had some hours to kill before our “important” flight, with our first destination was ready to get us on our way!
Marthe is enjoying a late breakfast at Gatwick airport.
It was a loooooooong flight!
When we arrived at the airport in Kuala Lumpur, we went straight to find a taxi. Since we are traveling light, we only had hand luggage.
We are so lucky to have a friend who works, and lives in KL. So we took a taxi to Lars Magne's place (His amazing place!)
We already want to move here.
Unfortunately, we never got the time to use the pool.
We had one goal after arriving (well, Ranveig had one goal), to find a hair salon who could straighten her hair permanently for 6 months, this is just to expensive to do in Norway, and with that treatment her travels will be so much easier. It's not always fun with “Troll-Hair”!
On our way to the shopping mall.
Ranveig at the salon.
After getting our hair sorted out, we met Lars Magne and when to have some dinner.
Ranveig and Lars Magne.
Since it was starting to get late, we tok a short walk back home.
Lars Magne have the best view, so the evening ended with a glass of whine on his balcony.
Petronas Twin Towers!
We only had one night in KL, so after a good night sleep we went to the Batu Caves, the main thing we wanted to do while we were there.
"Considered one of Kuala Lumpur’s most frequented tourist attractions, this 100-year-old temple features idols and statues erected inside the main caves and around it. Incorporated with interior limestone formations said to be around 400 million years old, the temple is considered an important religious landmark by Hindus."
Preparing to go up 272 steps in the heat!
We are not alone!
Two beautiful and sweaty girls!

We still hadd some hours before our bus to singapore, so we just spent them wondering around, here are some random photos from Kuala Lumpur:

We traveled to Singapore with trans star express, and it was really comfortable!
